We are planning another trip in August, and we love this museum. It's great educational play for the kids. When we first went they were very young but LOVED the ball room. We could have stayed for hours just at that room. Now that they're a little older I can't wait to take them for the grocery store, and the ball room, and the theatre and the arts room. Lots of fun for all of them.
The crew and maintenance are really good people, and they do their jobs well. They keep the museum as safe as it is fun for the kids. Throughout the year, there are new exhibits while the main parts stay the same to give a little familiarity to young kids. It's a place where kids can unwind, parents can either interact or take a break. The ...

My kids never want to leave!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/26/08
I'm from Kansas City and my kids love to visit three things when we come up. 1. Grandma 2. Omaha Children's Museum 3. Zoo. My children ages 2 and 4 have so much fun whenever we visit. There's so much to do that they never get bored. The exhibit on the top floor changes enough that it also gives them something new to look forward to every time. The only problem is they don't ever want to leave once we're there!
im 16 currently and STILL think it is awsome. i used to to every month as a kid and always had fun. The best parts i think is when they have their science shows, face painting, and arts and crafts.
I am now 15 years old and I live in Nebraska and I always LOVED going to the children's museum! There are lots of things to do for kids of all ages. It's educational but very fun. My favorite part was the grocery store where you could pretend you were either shopping or you were the cashier. It is very realistic! They have play foods and ...

My grandchildren had a blast. The cost was very reasonable and they enjoyed themselves out of the heat! Would not hesitate to go back!

Very Disappointed!

We took our 2,4 ,7 year old there and it was not worth the time or money! At first they thought it was neat but got bored very quickly!!!! It was overly crowed and half the stuf did not work. The shows they put on were not clearly labeled. It is basically a ton of toys! That is not a museum. A museum is a place to learn things not play with toys!!!
