Lots of Fun!!
By graceenelson, 04/05/08
I am now 15 years old and I live in Nebraska and I always LOVED going to the children's museum! There are lots of things to do for kids of all ages. It's educational but very fun. My favorite part was the grocery store where you could pretend you were either shopping or you were the cashier. It is very realistic! They have play foods and ...

My grandchildren had a blast. The cost was very reasonable and they enjoyed themselves out of the heat! Would not hesitate to go back!

Very Disappointed!
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 08/07/07
We took our 2,4 ,7 year old there and it was not worth the time or money! At first they thought it was neat but got bored very quickly!!!! It was overly crowed and half the stuf did not work. The shows they put on were not clearly labeled. It is basically a ton of toys! That is not a museum. A museum is a place to learn things not play with toys!!!

The Best!
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 07/24/07
I love OCM. We have a membership there, and we try to go once every 6-8 weeks. This museum was just totally renovated in Spring 2007, so everything is brand new. They have an awesome room for babies thru age 3 and even a "family room" for breastfeeding mothers and to eat snacks. There is something for all ages here. I have 2 kids, ages 3 1/2 and 1 1/2, and they never want to leave when it's time to go.

great place for kids
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 06/06/07
The children's museum is a great place to go anytime, but we usually go when the whether is not the best outside. I like that they are always changing the place so the kids don't get bored. It saves my sanity and money for those icky, rainy, summer days. I just pack the kids up and we spend the day at the museum. I would like to see a consession area-that would make it perfect.

Not as good as Lincoln's
By A Yahoo! Contributer, 05/08/07
If I had a choice, I'd go to the Lincoln Children's museum instead.
The Omaha Children's Museum was not that great, but since we had free tickets, I won't complain. We went on Friday, April 27th and it looks like there is a big new area but there were signs saying it would not open until April 28th. Try explaining that we were a ...

I have gone a lot lately since I've beacame a Nanny. The children have so much fun. You must take your child there. There is a fun area where you child can take part in make believe play such as Grocery shoping, Getting dressed up and putting on a play. There is also a big ball area where children can send ball threw a tube and watch it ...
