For my money, Benson is the finest public course in the Omaha area. In fact, this course stacks up well against any muni course I've played in any city. Challenging but fair golf, with scenic views, elevated tees, a few tricky greens, and a 470-yard par 4 that can become an obsession.

  • Good for a public course
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/16/04
Benson Park is a well maintained, challenging public golf course. The front nine is fairly easy because of the wide open fairways and easy greens. There are two challenging holes in # 3 and # 5. The back nine is very long and a bit more difficult than the front nine. You will enjoy this course if you play it.
