We rode the metro down to Laclede's Landing mid-afternoon. There weren't any stores open for shopping, but plenty of bars and restaurants were open. It was cool to just walk around and see the old architecture and cobblestone streets.

Every city I visit has a historic neighborhood that someone tried to revive as a nightlife district. Usually they are just depressing. If you want to get drunk with other tourists and college kids go here. I though St Louis had enough real neighborhoods where regular people can go and have a nice dinner/drinks.

Everyone should be informed to stay away from Club Buca. The bouncers are brutal, skanky waitresses, etc. It's a dangerous place to go and there are racist understones. Please be aware that this place is not representative of Laclede's Landing and St. Louis. One visit to this place will make tourists be glad they are just tourists in the city!

The place was great old world charm meets new sophistication and very reasonable. I just have to comment on how others want to leave bad reviews and not be very descriptive, nor can they spell!!!

The old building made the landing a great place to just, hang out and have a bite to eat. It is really relaxing. you don't realize that you are in the middle of the city. The brick streets are blocked off for only horse buggees and humans.It is a great place. Great transportation to and from Lacledes Landing.
