We took our 5 and 7 year old girls to this location. We have been to Children's Museums before, but this one took the cake! We were in awe from the time we pulled into the parking lot. The main floor with the small town was the best. The two story house inside the museum was great. Our kids loved the grocery store and the bank. We could spend days playing here! Highly recommended!

The Magic House is a wonderful place to take your children if your from St. Louis or not. There is not a better place for Kids to use their imagination and get hands-on education. It may be crowded at times but that is becuase it is so fun. The children's village is really popular, it is where children can learn about their community and use ...

Not going back anytime soon.

I have a 14 month old who loves Gymboree and I thought that the Magic House would give us a little variety. What a mistake that was!! Although I can clearly see the pull for older children (5-10) I still wonder if the rates are worth it and why on earth they say that there is a wonderful section just for 12 month olds and up if indeed it was ...

this is a great place for the family and kids its fun and also a learning experience!!! this is a fun experience for everyone of all different ages not only the littler kids
My daughter is three so she loved this place, I almost had to drag her out. I know someone said its boring, but if your kids are under 7 I would say, then this is will be fun for them. Plus they have coupons also, buy one get one free for the admission. So this can definitely be something that won't cost you barely anything.

Too much money for what you get
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/04/06
It was $7 a person, for everyone over age 1, so it was $42 for 4 adults, a 3 year old, and a 1 year old. It was not worth how much it costs. Maybe if you had older children who could enjoy it more. We spent about 2 hours and the kids were ready to go. I have been to much better childrens muesems. It was disapointing.

Very nice for the size
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/07/06
A nice museum for a child's first visit. We had a toddler and he enjoyed all the activities, as I thought it was geared more to that age group. Very good use of an old Victorian home, just hard to size it up in comparison to the children's museum in Indy. Would not be a good place to be on a very busy day.
Wow- this place is appropriately named! My kids were amazed and frankly so was I. If you are in the St. Louis area you need to see this place. Our only regret was that the next day on the kids menu at Chevy's there was a buy one get one free admission coupon- always a day late, huh? Even at full price though it is so worth it!
The Magic House is great fun for young and old. It is educational in a fun way. It appeals to all ages - from toddlers to adults. We have visited it several times when we visit family in St. Louis and it is one of our favorite places.
The Magic House is magical. Everyone who enters is magically enveloped by the wonders of this beautiful house. Bring your child (or your inner child!) to play at the Magic House and you will be magically youthful, energetic and creative! It's the house every child dreams of living in and yet it's packed full of learning experiences. ...
