It's Not The Best
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/07/06
I would actually give this about 1 to 2 stars, but my 4 year old loves aquatic life, so he left a happy camper. My biggest complaint is the cost. It cost us $18 a person to get in. The next is it wasn't all that impressive. I like the artistic spin on the aquarium, but I have taken my son to pet shops that has had more beautiful displays. It left me wanting a lot more....

Great Place
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/07/05
Great place to visit. The world aquarium is a very hands on educational experience that you can bring the whole family to. Touch tanks, friendly animal keepers, and interesting exhibits that you can crawl through a shark tank or explore a secret passage on your way to the giant snake exhibit. This definately should be on the must see list in Saint Louis. Heard the world aquarium recently moved to this location in the city museum. Check it out.

Wow!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/07/05
I can't imagine a better marriage of art and science in any aquarium! It is a wonder to behold the World Aquarium in the middle of the creative City Museum. Around every corner of the World Aquarium is another unusual exhibit each filled with interesting and beautiful fish and more. My family spent the whole day at the World Aquarium and City Museum. Great value and Great Fun!

needs a lot of work
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/20/05
I enjoyed going to the aquarium, but it was very small and seemed like it was still undergoing being built. it needs alot of renovation and enlargement, but it does have some neat features- you can pet a baby shark, and you can watch the sharks being fed at times. however, the shark tank was smaller than most in-ground backyard swimming pools, and ...

Never Heard Of It
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/19/05
I just wanted to forewarn people. I am from St. Louis (born and raised, still living here) and I have never, in my life, even heard of this "World Aquarium". I would suggest to you all - don't go, I don't want people to think that this is what St. Louis calls a World Aquarium. If you want to see any type of animal, go to the St. Louis Zoo (one of the best zoos in the world). The Zoo is free too!

Very Smelly
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/24/05
This place was absolutely the worst place for animals to be let alone people. I was appalled at the way the animals were housed. I actually felt like calling the ASPCA but I figured they must know about this already. I have not been back to the City Musuem and have to block the Aquarium from my mind because it infuriates me.

Don't waste your time or money
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/20/05
This place was very small and very dirty. Admission was high and I felt like I paid admission into a pet store. While my son and I were there we saw a snake that escaped from it's enclosure and had poked it's body out of a wall next to me. It definitely is not a "world" anything. Many of the fish are kept in plastic wal-mart ...
