I didn't really like the arch at all. I may sound like a stuck up person, but I had to wait in a long line, to get in a car thing, to ride to the top, to see a spectacular view, then to ride back down, and leave, just like that. Really boring.

I really like going to see the Arch and go up to the top. It was really worth seeing it up close. The only downside is going to the top of the Arch may not be for those who have a fear of heights and I would not recommend the tram, which is the ride that goes to the top, if you are claustrophobic.

this was an outstanding experience..it good t go in the morning then you are not waiting in line forever..and also dont get your hopes thatr is a long waitng time.there are plenty of things to do..for instance go into he museum park,,its outstanding as well.

My in-laws and I went to St. Louis to view the gateway arch. The price to ride wasn't unreasonable but there isn't anything to see in the ride going up and down. When I first moved to St. Louis everyone was saying how I had to visit the arch. When my g/f came to visit we went there one day and the exhibits were fun and enjoyable but the wait time and the view from up top the arch was rather disappointing. I have since sent others there because of the attraction but it always comes back to the same response. I would say if youhave limited time in St. Louis go to the zoo instead.

As others have said, it is truly seen anywhere you are in the city. It is a little expensive to get tickets and take the ride up. The ride up is small, tight and cramped and doesn't feel very secure, however once you are up the view is unsurpassed! Awesome!

Long lines and wait but the exhibitions at the bottom are very good with friendly park guides.

The Gateway Arch of St. Louis, MO is one of the great wonders of the world. Its history & architecture are fascinating. The ride to the top is most interesting, but the view is breath taking. My children were absolutely spellbound. A must see whenever your in St. Louis.

I liked learning about the history. Even being from missouri i didn't know the story behind the arch. Now I do. It's a fantastic experience for both young and old.
