I enjoy the sites and attraction. it was very interesting and I would defitnitely come back to see it again. There are also other place's I haven't seen yet because my weekend was cut short.
Just an amazing monument. We got there promptly at 9:00 with our prepaid tickets. We were the first to the top. Got to spend 20-30 minutes looking all around before it became too crowded.

It looks big in pictures but you get there and are blown away with how big it truly is. My 5 year old kept talking about riding to the top and when we finally got across the street from it she said "I don't think I'm going to go to the top."

The arch is ok, I wouldnt go back again... Its a bit boring and the museum underneath is alright, but not worth a special trip for. There are definitely better things than this to see, its worth going once.
I recommend this city to everybody for the nice atmosphere, nice buildings, big but in the same time friendly; you can imagine I visited The Gateway Arch, and it was a great experience. When I was up, I could admire the city panorama, which is unique view, and also visited the museum! The museum is a very important part of american history, so I think all americans should see it, not only foreigners.
Ok, maybe not the top of the world, but if you're in downtown STL then this is close to it. I'd always wanted to visit the arch as long as I could remember; so when I got stationed a couple hours away I jumped at the chance to visit it. It's an amazing work of art and engineering! Pictures do it no justice. I was satisfied just standing ...

Been there, done that

The museum is not kid-friendly at all, if you have hours to read, it's probably not bad.
The boat tour was not worth the price. The river around St. Louis is not pretty--so you get to see a stretch of industrialized, polluted-looking river bank.
The trip up the arch was one of those "been there, done that" events. Now ...

As a first time visitor to the city, the Arch was the best way to start as it gives a spectacular view of the city and it tells the history of this icon as the Gateway to the West. There's no need to spend an extra $3 to purchase the tickets online; just make sure you are there when it opens at 8 a.m., and you will almost be guaranteed a ticket ...
No tour to St. Louis would be complete without the tour of the arch that symbolizes St. Louis's rich heritage as the gateway to the west. The tram ride is one of a kind, like a creepy amusement park ride. The top is crampt, but the views are worthwhile.

The st.louis arch is the best attraction ever in my opinion. other than many other things to do in the city, it is my favorite! just dont wait in like, buy tickets online or u WILL wait. the view is amazing and the feeling of being under that thing and in it is unbelievable. i moved to stl for a boat load of reason, the arch being one of them.
