What a great ZOO!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/27/06
Great Zoo! Free admission and lots and lots of animals. My grandson loves the Herpetarium where there are so many snakes. The penguin exhibit is the best I have ever seen (and I visit zoos a lot). Even the food was a bargain. Got a barbequed pork sandwich with homemade fries, baked beans and a drink for 7 bucks. There is a charge to ride the ...
The St. Louis Zoo is a great place for people of all ages. I'm under 30, my husband and I don't yet have kids, but we still love to spend an afternoon at the zoo. It's not just for families with kids. There's so much to see, and it's the cleanest zoo I've ever been to. Like most places in St. Louis you can also order an Anheiser-Busch frosty beverage as you take a stroll on hot summer day.

Best Zoo anywhere!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/21/06
Love everything! Not that I would not pay to visit, but it is open to the public no charge, others major zoos are infearor and some you must pay to be admitted. I have seen a number of other major zoos including the great Bronx zoo.
In my teens I lived near the zoo. My friends and I rode our bikes there several times each year. We watched them ...
Loved the zoo in St Louis, of course its free always, so why not pay to park, or walking is fine. Since its free you can splurge a little on the inside.

A definite must see for the the family
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/03/06
The St. Louis Zoo is a definite must see for any family visiting St.Louis. General admission is free and most of the attractions are free. They offer some shows like sea lion shows and some kids shows that require a small fee. This is a very expansive zoo that will take a whole day to see everything that is offered. I would recomend taking two days.
