Lots of neat things to see. Henry VIII and his six wives, WWII, Life of Christ, Super Hero's, & Chamber of Horrors were fun to see. Great price too. We used the $3 off coupon, total cost was $5 for an adult.
It was our first visit to a wax museum ever, and we loved it.The young lady at the front desk was very nice and informative. As far as it being dirty or whatever that just adds to the ambiance and experience of the museum and the building, as someone else had commented the building is over 100 years old. Certainly a must see in my book, and they are currently adding a maze with more figures, so we will surely visit again next time were there.
I've been to the wax museum many times. The owner is awesome. He's very friendly and always has something interesting to say. It's a family owned place and they've been there for years so probably not many around to help keep it opened everyday. He opens it for the thrill of people getting to see what's inside and isn't too ...
I've been to the museum twice over the years and I really enjoy it. If you're looking for something like Madame Tussauds, you will be disappointed. If you have an appreciation for someplace campy and off-beat, you will have a great time. I appreciate Richard Burton's square head, the fact that George Washington Carver looks like ...

This place IS NOT CLOSED...my husband and I visited yesterday (July 26, 2009). The museum was open. It was a pretty good visit for 5 dollars a person. They had a wide variety of figures.

Its Closed, Don't Go!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/17/09
I had been wanting to go to this place for months, and we went on March 16, 2009 and it was empty and closed and the statues were all in a corner and there were boxes everywhere. I did inquire about purchasing some of the statues though :)
I saw dirt on most of the figures. I texted my best friend and said it looked like he got his dolls from Walmart. The owner was really nice. The figures looked as if they were rejects from a cleaner and nicer Wax Museum. I took a picture and played guess who this is supposed to be with my kids. MLK was thought to be Bill Cosby... Did not know they looked a like. :-)
This was my first visit to the wax museum I live approx 3 hours away from St. Louis and go to the Old Spagatti Factory often and have stopped by the wax museum but it was never open. I went back on July 5th, 2008 and finaly it was open. I talked to the owner - operator (Charlie) and he was a riot loved him... I asked why the museum wasn't never ...

By A Yahoo! Contributor, 05/14/08
I took my 3 children down to the wax museum on our 4 day vacation. We saw all of St. Louis and the wax museum we saw on the last day. It was the best place we went. The owner Charles was the best and took my kids around showing them everything and explaining history behind every wax figure. There's a floor that is all stages of Jesus that was ...

Easily my favorite place in St. Louis.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/20/08
I live in St. Louis and as a child, my best friend's dad took us to the Wax Museum all the time, and then to the prank stores down the cobblestone road. It became something i looked forward to. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the owners of the place are very easy to talk to. They're also quite humerous. I'm a high school student ...
