DeliciosoI loved the decor, it looks like something out of an old movie. We loved this place. The best Italian food we have ever eaten. After driving around downtown we were fortunate to find Gitto's. The ambiance cannot be matched. The Gitto's were there and were just as appreciative of our patronage as the wait staff. My alltime favoriteThis is absolutely my all time favorite restaraunt. I plan special weekend trips in St. Louis just to go to Gitto's. If you go upstairs it almost reminds you of an old mobtype atmosphere from the movies. Love This Place!!Ever since I was a young girl, it was a Treat to go the Charlie Gitto's. After Cardinal Baseball games, my parents would take me, my brother and sister to eat here!!

AMAZINGI went to Charlie Gitto's before the cardinals game the other day and it was one of the most memorable experiences. Charlie came around and asked how we were doing and the food was absoultely the best of the best. Just like homeCame from out town, took a walk around the block, bumped into Gitto's, had Crab Cakes for appetizers,(better than Maryland). Ordered the Rigattoni with peas and ham, ruined my taste buds for life. It was a religous experience. The food was that good. Was transported home to the Bronx at my Grandma's table.
