This place was great. It is beautiful on the inside and the outside. The building is art all on it's own. I fell in love with this museum as soon as I saw it. I also suggest taking a stroll through the neighborhood around the museum. It's a nice change from the city life.
Wonderful experience. Something for everyone to enjoy. Fantastic collection of art from all over the world, Egyptian to modern and everything in between. Well laid out and interpreted. If you go late in the day, after noon, you can get a personally guided tour. The art inside and out is fun, awe inspiring and thought provoking. An African ...
I am 17 and I have been to the Nelson three times and I plan to go again this week. They have a very diverse collection of Art and recent construction will leave the museum looking its finest. The cafe is nice for lunch, however it is a bit on the costly side, about $5-$10 bucks per person.

The museum no longer charges admission, but ...
I'm fond of chinese art and friend of mine tried to show me what this museum have. Almost whole temple! I was surprised with those badmington balls in front. It was amasing. Unfortunate we have just our before closing, so I didn't see everything I want
the Nelson is greatly improved with a nice parking facility and other additions. Displays there, while some are very familiar, remain interesting and stir conversation even in those without true art appreciation or education.
The minute you drive into the convenient parking areas you have an awe of the expanse of the place and you see the lawn sculpture and you can't wait to see the latest that's on display...You are greeted by pleasant people and the cost is minimal for the show ahead. I usually go for the lunchtime as the smells from the resturant get my ...
