Very good food. Great atmosphere. One of the best collections of sports memorabilia I have ever seen. Must eat there more than a couple of times to see everything. Spacious enough that you can walk around without bothering people who are eating.
I love sports and good food. This place combines both. It is a restaurant in a sports museum. the service is great and Mr. Chappell is almost always there to answer questions about his collection. Please if you are near Kansas City make the trip to this great restaurant.
I am a girl that is not the biggest sports buff, but when I stepped into this bar, I became interested. The photos, collectables, and football helmets everywhere is quite extrodanary. I've eaten here only a couple of times (Im from central nebraska) and I plan on visiting this place again next time Im in KC. The service is nice and the food is delicious and worth the money. I cant say nothing bad about this place.
Chappell's is the closest thing to the MLB Hall of Fame in Cooperstown and to go along with the amazing memorabilia, the service and food is first class as well.
