Nice place unrealistic pricesFor years my family and I have gone to SDC, for about the last 5 or 6 years SDC has become such a RIP OFF, honestly if you take 3 children and 2 adults you can plan on spending 500.00 easily, they have made it so expensive it isnt even fun anymore for the hard working class anyway.

Best Place Ever!There is something for everyone at Silver Dollar City. Ride for little kid and teenagers who want wild rider. Also rides for adults. The food is a little pricy, but it is very good!! Go for the Season PassSilver Dollar City is one of my families highlights of the year. The kids love it and don't mind standing in line some times. The one thing you need to watch is, of course, the day that you are going. There are certain days that I would definitely not go, if you don't like waiting in line or don't like crowds. Love this park!I loove this park Because it has something for everyone! Wether you like rides or not!
They have 3 awesome coasters and a giant barnswing for the thrill seekers!
The grand exposition has lots of rides for the whol family specifically for the smaller kids or for those looking for a little less thrill!

Always funWe get season tickets and go several times per year.
I think the atmosphere becomes a little more commercial and a little more cartoon-ish each year, but it is still a good time. There are some great rides. We especially enjoy "Wild Fire" and "The Giant Swing."

Very disappointed with 12/6/08 visit!!the employees where very rude in the big jacks sandwich shop. the lady taking orders that evening was rude and wiping her nose on her shelve. It was crowded and alot of the other places ran out of food. And when I pay 42.00 for sandwichs and drinks you can smile at me and not say hurry with your order. Best deal aroundThis is the best family oriented amusement park around. Dollywood is probably similar, but have not yet visited. If you are capable of planning a year in advance, the best deal is to purchase a season pass by 12/31. It's Like Home Away From Home to Us!!!!We have been going to Silver Dollar City for 24 years and we never tire of it. It's a good drive and we go at least once a year, always with 3 kids in tow, now they are taking their kids, so it has become a Family Tradition. Wouldn't change a thing!
