  • Engler block in Branson
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/29/09
Sadly to say, The Engler Block will cease operations as a artist and crafters venue effective 2/1/09. We are turning the facility into one of the midwest's largest Antique car museum and sales facility. Thanks to all of you that have visited us over the last 22 years. Come see the newest Branson attraction.

  • Absolutely marvelous and fun
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/06/08
Engler Block has to be the most unique shopping mall we have ever visited. We bought blown glass and pottery right from the artist that made them. One problem was that there were alot of busses and their flocks. We are going to go back when it is not as busy. The cobbler was great and the employees were very sassy, actually very funny. We recommend the place for people looking for a idea of what Branson used to be.

  • What a neat place
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/19/08
The block is much larger than it looks from the road. We were looking for something to do in order to kill some time before Dixie Stampede started. I honestly can say we were surprised by the size and unique nature of the place. I can say that I recommend it, even though they need to lease some more spaces. This is truly representative of old Branson that we did not see anywhere else.

  • Love this place
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/02/08
I love this place, they have everything you need to stamp and alot of rare or unique papers for scrapbooking too! They have examples of creations that they have made and have classes for but if you ask them how to make it they are willing to explain it all to you and show you the supples. The only drawback is that once you go in time flies away!

  • Demonstrating crafters are cool
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/01/08
It was raining so we looked for a place to hang out inside. Unreal. It looks smaller from the outside but the place is huge. I had never seen anyone making candles, blowing glass, or making musical stringed instruments. Being from the city we never got to see people making things. I really liked the place and will go back. Branson does really need to have places like this.

  • Undiscovered shopping
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/06/08
We have been coming to Branson for years but have never stopped at the Engler Block. I do not know why but we just passed that end of the strip. The place is just amazing. It is what Branson used to be and what it is not anymore. Do yourself a favor and skip the landing and visit the place.

  • Glass and pottery for Christmas
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/06/07
For those of you that have not been to this place, do something for me. Go there. Branson has nothing like it and it is still so undiscovered eventhough it has been in business for over 20 years. It looks like just a few stores from the front but it goes on forever.
Had some timeshare guy not told us about it, we would have gone to that landing ...

  • Engler Block is not a kids shop
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 11/28/07
I read many of the reviews concerning the Engler Block. The place is an arts and crafts demonstrating mall, not a childs place. The arts are upscale and, in my opinion, underpriced. They have an glass blower, woodcarvers, potters, and some guy that actually makes real wooden stringed instruments. This is not a place for buying kiddie toys or for ...

  • Very unique place
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/30/07
The Engler Block was not on our list of things to do. However it rained and we had to do something inside. I did not find things expensive, we found just the opposite. You just have to pay more for hand made items any more. Back to the trip. The shopping mall is very unique and, like others have said we have just not seen anything like this ...

  • really neat crafts shopping
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/28/07
I have never seen so many crafts people doing so many things under one roof. How neat that was. When going to Branson see something like this place. Branson landing was ok, but this place is really cool and all inside.
