I would definitely recommend going to Hart Plaza to anyone who visits Detroit. There are tons of free cultural festivals and musical performances. Hart Plaza also borders the Detroit River, so you can take in the beautiful riverfront. Children love the waterfall centrally located in Hart Plaza. At night, romantics enjoy the riverfront. Hart Plaza is also a great hang out spot for teens.

I like the fact that it's free. The only thing that I would change would be to add more attractions. But this is my city and where we hang every year for a few festivals and see friends that we haven't seen in a while.

What can you say about ethnic festivals? They are celebrations of heritage and you can join in, whether you are of that ethnic or not. The food is fantastic, the music is awesone and the atmosphere is definetly "festive"!

Fun place to be. Great views of Canada and the river. Many festivals and events take place here that are worth checking out.

Very nice place, but nothing going on down there. They should have more things to do in that area. kind of like a ghost town area.
