  • I enjoyed it Thoroughly!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/19/09
We found that we needed one day for The Henry Ford, and one day for Greenfield village. Our day was in the 90's which is almost too warm to enjoy all the walking and types of transportation in the village, (Model t's, Horse and enclosed wagons, antique horse drawn vehicles, steam engine train, but we managed. Both areas will more than keep ...

  • Can't wait to go back
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/16/08
We usually go to Henry Ford Museum during the winter months when Greenfield Village is closed. It is great to walk around inside this huge museum and compare yourself to the size of the huge trains and walk around inside the old Dimaxian House and see what would have been modern convienence back then.

  • Great long weekend
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 02/13/08
We drove over from Kalamazoo for a long weekend. We visited the museum, the village and did the factory tour. It was great. So much to see. My husband uses a mobility scooter and we found the facility to be very handicap accessable. we especially enjoyed seeing the Rosa Parks bus and Kennedy's limo.
We are hoping to go back next summer and spend more time in the village.

  • A step back in time
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/20/07
What a wonderful feeling being able to see, and touch america's history of a great man President John F. Kennedy. While others move on in life after the horrible tragic day, but for some reason his car remains frozen in time.

  • Must-do in Detroit
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/25/07
This is a must-see if you're in the Detroit area. Fun for all - even the kiddies will like it. If you're an auto buff, this is the jackpot and if you drive a Ford, then you'll really appreciate your 'world car'! We really enjoyed it. The only drawback was that the snack bars were shut & it can take a few hours in there.

  • awesome place to visit
    By joe, 01/15/07
If you go to the H F M and greenfield village , give yourself at least 2 full days to see everything. There is so much history and you can see so much for really not that much money to go into these two fasinating places. There is an authentic old-fashion baseball game played in the summer. A++

  • One Of The Best!
    By Shannon Clair, 07/26/06
Typically museums bore me, but not this one. I grew up near the Detroit area, so I've been to the Henry Ford Museum more times than I can count and there is a reason why, it's the best! It's not just about cars, it's about pop culture, American history, and of course planes, trains, and automobiles. And they even have an IMAX theater. If you ever visit the Detroit or SE Michigan area, you have to make it a point to visit.

  • Fantastic!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/14/06
This was without a shadow of a doubt the best museum I've ever been to! Even if you're not into cars, there's much more to see. It's so big, you can wander for hours, but not get lost. I've been to the Smithsonian in Washington D.C., and I was more impressed by the Ford Museum.

  • Great for pictures
    By Becky, 03/23/06
The Henry Ford Museum told its story without the guides even having to speak!! The flood line was unbelievable. The fact that they slept in dif beds and used the one bed on the balcony for SPECIAL nights was a good idea ha!! The view and the woodwork, the machinery and the walkway by the river ...it was all so beautiful. I would recommend it to ...

  • Wonderful for ALL the Family
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/01/05
Last year my husband and I bought a Family Pass which enabled us admission plus any of our grandchildren under 18. We took our 12 year old grandson and his mother who as a college student was able to get a student pass.

All of us had a wonderful time. We come from the Cleveland, Ohio area. It was worth every mile we traveled. One does not ...
