As a Catholic, Half-Mineola origionally from NY, I am very familiar with Italian street festivals, that are meant to both honor and venerate various Patron Saints and keep with the traditions of the old country and our devoted ancestors. Amazing vibe in the North End for the feast. Some of the best outdoor food anywhere. It's all about food, culture, food and oh, did I mention food? As they say up in the North End, "mangia".
