Great Fun

We loved the Duck Tour, our driver was great, he allowed some of the kids aboard to have a drive, and the information he gave us about Boston was terrific. Book at least 2 days before your tour just to make sure you don't miss out if you are on a tight schedule. I can't believe I quacked on a tour, the day we did it I turned 50 so won't forget it for a while. Boston is a great city.

Wouldn't do it again

This tour had potential, but our tour guide was very hard to understand, and more focused on Boston sports than on an informative tour of Boston. I suspect the satisfied customers in this forum had a different "conducktor" -- the quality of the tour guide makes or breaks this tour.
This tour was fun, but I think it was a bit pricey and we had already done the OTT Tours and a lot of the information was becoming old and redundant. Good funny tour guides though.

Highlights of Boston in 1 day
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/13/07
I was in Boston on business and was only able to stay 1 extra day for sight seeing. I learned about the duck tours online and am so glad that I took a tour on my free day! I was able to see and learn about so much in the 1 1/2 hour tour. I would have not been able to see all of those sights on my own. I would suggest this tour to anyone who has a ...
An amazing way to see the majority of Boston. The water part was spectacular and really fun. Though it could have been a tad longer. Also very fun captains that make you quack at passer bys on the street. =D
The driver knew his stuff and could have done a stage routine with his material. It worked on all fronts. To ride in a WW2 landing craft was an experience in itself.
Enjoy - we did

Duck Tour was fun!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/26/07
I went to Boston with my family for my college audition and after the audition, my mom wanted to do the Boston tour. We finally saw the duck tour ticket desk in Prudential Shopping Center and decided to do the tour. It was about 1hr 30min, but not boring at all!! The driver (guide) was very funny and really knows Boston very well. When the bus ...
Ducks tour was fun - even in rainy weather. They are enclosed and heated. However there is too much silliness and not enough history for many - me being one.I would have preferred the Trolley tour and just get on and off and tour on my own, but if you want to make a quick trip while there, it is about 1 1/2 hours long - note you will need to be ...
If you ever go to Boston for the duck tour. Ask for a tour guide with a fun personality, ask for Super Size. Our driver/ guide/ extra large super hero was dressed in spandex and wore a cape! He was very funny...almost like a professional comic. Although there were mostly adults on the ride, we all quacked on queue.
