I don't live there anymore. I wanna go. The parade, tradition and people are a blast!The crowd was so into the parade and of course the culture. The police, children and all loved it. South Boston is "The American Irishman's home".OVERALLAtmosphereValue

Fun, To Be SureThanks to helpful locals, despite coming an hour late I managed to see the whole parade by getting off the train at Andrew.
The streets were a swarm of green as the parade started and everyone looked like they were enjoying themselves.
The parade was a mix of kilted bands, colonial costumed groups and the bizarre (Darth Vader is Irish !!!).
