The B&O Museum is a great place for all ages! There's a lot for kids to do--look at, explore, and climb on! It's a great place for history buffs, too, to understand the role that trains played in expanding the US and travel and industry. The monthly reading times for kids are especially good. Recommend buying a membership for those who are local. I have gone many times with my niece and she has never grown tired of it.

We took the grandkids there for a quick outing. It is funny watching the young and the old enjoying the same thing. It was reaaly great. It is easy to get to. You can go at your own pace. It truly is a place that both the young and old enjoy. I looking forward to going back as the grand kids grow.

A great array of old and huge locomotives and cars. If you like RR history you'll like this museum. The museum roundhouse collapsed in a snow storm but it has been rebuilt very nicely and offers a great way to see a roundhouse and some old iron. I especially liked the huge locomotives in the shed building. The spring or fall are a good time since it requires outdoor viewing. The waterfront is only a few blocks away to make it a day.

I got to spend time with my dad doing something we both enjoyed, trains. We had a great time looking at the trains and then a great lunch nearby at a great little diner that served the best food... better than moms.

WE LOVED THE PLACE. THE TRAINS ARE JUST BEAUTIFUL AND WE LEARNED ALOT ABOUT THE HISTOR OF RAILROADING IN AMERICA.
I WOULD SUGGEST THAT EVERY SCHOOL IN THE STATE OF MARYLAND AND EVERY ONE LIVING IN THE STATE, VISIT THIS PLACE ATLEAST ONCE.
IT IS A VALUABLE EXPERIENCE FOR ALL.
