I'd go back to visitThe Washington Monument is a must see! It's located in Mt Vernon area and just a few short miles from the inner habor-we actually walked it...it gave us a feel for the city. We also found the War Monument along the way-great photo ops!OVERALL

I will be backI loved the view, being up in the open that high. I think Washington needs to be remembered as the best man for America. Without Washington, I think there would be no United States.We owe more to him than any other man. The monument is a lovely thing to a great man! Great Place to ClimbThe Washington Monument is a great somewhat hidden treat in Downtown Baltimore. Just about a dozen blocks north of the harbor on Charles Street stands the huge monument in the middle of a park. If you are lucky enough to be there when it is open you can climb the 228 winding steps for a great view.
