I live in Baltimore Co and I took my lil brother and bf who is from Ohio for the first time. Now the two of them don't like museums but neither wanted to leave this one. Being from the Baltimore area I suggest going on a weekday when its less crowded. Then maybe eating at one of the many restaurants at the harbor.
I was not impressed with this aquarium. The Australian exhibit was very nice but the rest needs a lot of work. Sea World blows this place away. Considering it is the National Aquarium, they should fund it better. The aquarium in Camden New Jersey is as good as this one. The frog exhibit was pretty good.

Staff greeted us with smiles and smiles, in today's world, WOW!! Walking in, greeted by a refreshing waterfall, with many trout in the basin of the falls. On dislike, TO MANY INTERNAL SIGNS! please use 21st century technology i.e. lcds, etc. Sharks, small exhibits excellent, Austrilia hummmmm i have a stiff neck, not to green of a building. ...
Awesome collection of fish, frogs and tons of other sea life, but this attraction is very expensive. It cost $21.95 per person ($24.95 with the dolphin show). Kids and seniors cost less, but it is still very expensive. We did not eat there, but I noticed that chicken tenders were $7 or $8 in one of the many cafes. Parking was also a huge issue. ...

can't wait until we get back in september

love the aquarium, it was wonderful. Very entertaining and informative for me and my children. I would make sure it is on your "must see or do lists"
Needs to be cleaned up and have more for the price you pay. Looked the same as when I went 20 years ago, but was triple the price (and they charge extra for the dolphin show now).

This aquarium's a wonderful place to go. The exhibits make it feel as if you could actually interact with the animals (even though the tank is seperating you...). I recommend getting there before 11...maybe around 9...there aren't any lines usually at that time! :) The dolphin show was great but should have been longer...with more tricks. The staff there is really helpful too. :)

A must see

I liked the aquarium, it was very unique and I would sad if I had come to Baltimore and missed seeing it. It was a little expensive for what it has to offer, however.
We really enjoyed our visit to the aquarium. The design and displays are magnificent. It is centrally located in the Inner Harbor. If you are in the area, don't miss it.
I don't recommend the snack bar. There are are too many wonderful restaurants nearby.
