If you go on a weekend, buy your ticket AHEAD of time online. Make sure you book any of the shows too, otherwise they will be sold out when you get to the ticket booth. It was severly crowded and fellow ticket holders were inconsiderate of others...i.e. standing in the middle of walkways, escalators, ramps, windows, etc. As for the aquarium, one time visiting is enough. It was...ok. I wasn't too impressed, especially for the price.
The National Aquarium is a place you visit once to say you've done it. It's overpriced for what you see and leaves you a little disappointed. It's not the aquarium;s fault, though - it is suffering from an obvious lack of funding and it shows. The "Australia" exhibit consisted of glass cases with snakes and lizards sitting on ...
I went by myself and it was so, so. You see all the animals you normally see in the typical aquarium. They did have an extensive frog collection. Kids would be way more impressed than adults. If you are an adult, make sure to see the dolphin show (it lasts almost 30 minutes) and the 4-D theater show. Those were the 2 biggest highlights. The ...
This aquarium is by far the best I've ever been to! It is absolutely awesome! My family and I had a great time here.... over 5 hours!!! Lots to look at it. And if you can... catch the dolphin show! It was the highlight of our day!
My boys, ages 6 and 9, loved this aquarium! We arrived just after 9:00 a.m. and there was hardly anyone there! They loved watching the stingrays, sharks, and other colorful sea creatures! We did watch the dolphin show, but we thought it was rather a "calm-boring" show. Sorry to say that, but we saw some shows at SeaWord and they ...
LOVED the Aquarium!! It's worth the money. ($24.95) Plan on spending at least 2-2 1/2hrs on just the general admin part of the aquarium-great for all ages. My only advise-get their early or buy your tickets online...alots of visitors on Saturdays! I've been to alot of aquariums and this one by far has been the best-lots of different fish you won't normally see in a city aquarium!

Likes: Skip the add-on shows to save money. There's plenty to look at with smaller children (3 hours--about all they could take anyway). Hanging, lifesize, fin whale skeleton completely wowed both my 7 and 2 year olds. Rainforest exhibit was very cool, especially if you are into being able to see exotic birds close up. Some were two feet away. ...
Ok well, i would like to say first that i love dolphins there my favorite! One day i'm gonna swim with them. Any ways, ladies and gentlmen, it would be AMAZING if i there were Orca's, only because my opinion is they're the most beautiful creatures alive!
The Baltimore Aquarium shows a fair bit of aquatic & amphibious life, and is great for children. I can safely say that if you hit everything the first time, you're done. You don't need to go back anymore.
For you first-timers, spend a good bit of time at the miniature habitat windows, those are where you typically see the most ...
