Every year the Maryland Zoo at Baltimore gets better. Samson, the baby elephant, is an especially outstanding attraction. So are the penguins. There were experts on these animals there to tell us all about what they eat, how they interact, etc. Also the polar bear exhibit--we got to see a polar bear swimming through the underwater glass. There ...
People who have been to the zoo say the same thing: don't plan on seeing many animals. We enjoyed the Africa section (Monkeys, Tigers, Elephants, etc) and the Polar Bears. Outside of that, we saw a few ducks and a whole lot of empty display areas. Overall I'd say the $10 admission was worth seeing the Africa animals and the Polar Bears. The zoo also has a strange layout which was a little confusing.
