Large, but you can see most of it in one day. Inch for inch the nicest zoo I have ever been to -- beats Bronx, Staten Island, Philadelphia, Propect Park Brooklyn, San Diego. Good food too.

Audubon suffers the same problem as most zoos.. when its raining, too cold, or too hot, the animals don't want to come around, or you don't want to be outside. Otherwise, its a great place to be. We followed the animals feeding schedules as a guide around the park and saw a lot of geat things. We had a great time.

It was a small zoo, but what was there was nice. It is one of the few places in New Orlean I would recommind.

Beautiful zoo, easy to get to by way of the St Charles (Green) street car-get off at Audubom Park and take the free zoo shuttle. The people are friendly, really neat elephant show. The white alligator in the swamp is a must see, and the nursery is very cool. Insectarium isn't open yet, which was disappointing, maybe next time.

The zoo was wonderful, I liked all the different atmoshperes from around the world. Great place for kids.

Enjoyed the variety of animals especially those indigenous to south. The plants were as enjoyable as the animals. This was a very nice zoo. It rivals the Cincinnati OH zoo.
