The captain was great & staff was very friendly also. Not far from New Orleans either, worth every penny and I'm terrified of alligators. Beautiful swamp, highly recommend this tour. One complaint though, I wanted it to last even longer, so much fun.

Picked-up from hotel by Cajun Pride. Given Katrina Tour on the way over. Facility is privately-owned. Plenty of bathrooms, snack shop, fed gators, & saw many other animals. Boat is shaded.

We took the swamp tour in Dec '07. The captain was a lot of fun and kept everyone entertained. We even got to pass around a baby gator and a snapping turtle. We only saw one gator in the swamp though and it wouldn't feed. I think we just had bad weather since it was cold and rainy. It was one of the only tours I found without having to pay for transportation, and I think it was a good value, we just hit a slow day.

I have taken the tour twice, 5 years apart and the tour was great each time. The guide was funny, knowledgeable, and daring. I had no idea that gators could jump out of the water the way they did. Combined with the city tour, this was a GREAT way to experience New Orleans and the swamps nearby.
