It is truly fitting that Jackson Square, undoubtedly the heart and soul of New Orleans, is dominated by the majestic St Louis Cathedral. Located within the French Quarter and a short walk from the CBD, it is difficult to miss this beautiful piece of architecture. Nice photo shot from Riverwalk entrance. Take it and move on to Jackson Square. Jackson Square is the Bourbon Street of the daytime New Orleans. See my review.

It is worth visiting at two different times. Why: 1) The natural lighting through the stained glass varies from daen to dusk. 2) You will notice something the second time you did not notice the first.
