Everything the other reviewers say is still true, but now they serve wine! We had good Spanish whites last week. You can still bring your own bottle if you prefer.

This place is absolutely amazing!! Try the pork loin for a real treat. The fish is out of this world, too. Keep lots of breath mints around for work the next day!

Would go back to NOLA just for Lola's
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/26/06
I visited Lola's from the suggestion of the bed and breakfast I was staying at. I prefer the local flavor of a city - to the tourist expereince. I have gone back every time I have been in NOLA. I took business clients who are from New Orleads - and they said they were very impressed with my selection - which was a compliment from a local when ...

Que Bueno!

The food at Lola's is so good that I dream about it. No lie. There are many interesting menu items worth trying (almond soup and garlic soup....so good!) The paella is yummy, the lamb melts in your mouth. They recently started serving Sangria, made on location. Should you ever get the opportunity, go to Lola's. Its worth the wait. p.s. ...

Funk-a-delic
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/13/04
That would best describe this small gem of a restaurant. So they take no reservations, so you have to wait in line, so they do not serve liquor, so what! Want wine, go across the street and pick you a bottle. Want friends, start a corversation with the people in line. Want fun, sit down with your new friends and eat and drink till you feel all warm ...

The Best Spanish Restaurant in New Orleans
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/08/04
Lola's is my favorite restaurant in New Orleans. The service is second to none and the food is outstanding. I always order the mussel appetizer(the best mussels I have ever tasted)and the meat paella. In addition to that the garlic butter that they serve is excellent. I always leave Lola's satisfied and with an eagerness to come back .Definitely a five star rating from me.
