  • watch for chess huslers

    i liked the outdoor atmosphere. there were 20 or 30 chess boards inlain in the concrete. it was very sunny and had a little wind. it seemed like many of the players wanted to play for money. one of the hustlers lost a game but could not pay his bet. what a welsher! some players would play without betting. the top players were rated around ...

    North Shore is rumored to be the best beach in Chicago, and I agree. The atmosphere is fun, the kids are happy, and the water is great. There is a fun little eaterie and bar on the beach, for those who like to watch the festivities. There is also a chess pavilion for those who would like to hone their problem-solving and strategy ...
