Definitely worth the time and money. This was my first trip and gave an excellent overview of the city. Unfortunately, not enough time to take everything in. Going back for 10 days in June. The people were wonderful, the bus tour a mix of 32 people from 14 different countries, so a real multi-cultural experience with a bunch of architecture ...
Don't just stare up at The Loop's wondrous skyscrapers, gain a historical perspective with Chicago Architecture Foundation's walking tour. Informative and fun, you'll amass a head full of factoids to impress the folks back home. Take the "old Chicago" tour or the "modern Chicago" one for a measly ten bucks, or go whole hog and do both for $15!
