When we planned to go to FAO Schwarz, we were thinking we would see miles of toys, much like what you see in the movie Big. In reality, there is a very small section of toys, and the rest of the floor is clothes. Don't get your hopes up, if this is one of your "must see's" of Chicago!! It isn't much to see.
Maybe we'll have to try it out in NY or Vegas. It's gotta be better than the Chicago store.
