    I have been going there for years to shop for funky little gift items to add to presents. I too come from NW Indiana and i go shopping in Boys town at least once every 2-3 weeks. This is definetly a stop when i shop.

    Very cool and hip store. They have a hudge variety of shirts, shoes and just fun and funky stuff..I highly recomend dropping in when you're in Chicago!

  • Favorite Chicago Stop

    We come all the way from Indiana to shop here a dozen times a year. My kids will only buy shoes from this place! Good value and no one else in school is going to have their shoes! It's also a great place to get little retro junk for birthdays, etc. Also some cool, interesting jewelry.

    I loved it. everything was about twice as cheap as say, that place where you could make your own t shirt. they have ready made tees, shoes for GREAT prices, and just random posters and beatles lunch boxes etc. i designed my own t shirt- you picked a shirt (they have tons) and pick an iron-on (they ahve a whole wall full) and its rly awesome.

    I go here all the time, and I can always count on them for patches, T-Shirts, buttons and other items that display my favorite bands. I can't go in that area without stopping at Strange Cargo.

    anything you think is cool, but you will never find in a mall, is here. they have tons of cool clothes and shoes. jewelry, belt buckles, sunglasses, everything! they have more iron-ons than an entire class of 11th graders circa 1977. and i haven't even mentioned their "collectibles" section of toys, cards, games and other fun and nostalgic stuff. i visit chicago a couple times a year and i'm always sure to make it at least once.
