Tried this place out because we didn't feel like Thai food. We got ribs and chicken for take-out and were pretty disappointed: three small pieces of lukewarm meat on top of two pieces of Wonder bread, accompanied by soggy fries and a tiny cup of coleslaw, all of which was drenched in BBQ sauce. The price? $12.50! Definitely not enough food for a hungry person, let alone two.

Take-out place... counter service & quality of food needs to improve greatly. Was a customer for years... then food & quality of service started to vary. On my last visit, the order of ribs I picked was cold when I got home which is only 10 minutes away! I immediately took them back and was told that they were closing and couldn't ...

I have been eating bbq at Ribs and Bibs for 30 years and they are the only place in chacago that has been consitent. They provide you with nice size portions. Other bbq joints are to inconsitent, sometimes great other time horrid.
So if you want very good bbq Ribs and Bibs is the place.

I think Ribs & Bibs is just OK as far as BBQ places go. Their food is somewhat over-priced and not as good compared to other places like the new place on 39th & Michigan, the Chicago Rib House, I believe. Although Ribs & Bibs has been around longer, they need to do something to liven up the menu and taste if they want to see me in there again.
