The course review is incorrect in stating that it is only a 9 hole course. Perhaps they are referring to the other municipal course in Caldwell. Purple sage is a flat course with tree lined fairways. It is better to be way off your game (or on it) rather then just a little off in order to avoid the trees. The greens are pretty descent except when they plug them. They allow groups of 5 sometimes. Play can be slow.
