I'm new here and would like to visit the Greenbelt when it's a little warmer outside. Where is the starting point and where can I park? Is there a charge for parking? thank you!!

The first time I went I was amazed! There are people all over swimming, biking and totally enjoying themselves! I've made a weekly treat for myself to go and bike eight miles. I couldn't resist not to... it's SOOO beautiful!

This little known gem is where I grew up. I used the greenbelt as a way to get from one end of the city to another. I remember moonlight walks behind the college. Floating down the river in the summer. And running through Ann Morrison to watch the balloon lift offs in the summer. A trip through Kathryn Albertsons is like being Alice in Wonderland. The greenbelt is a thing of beauty and fun and hope Boise keeps it maintained into the future.

well when i visited the green belt it was sooo amazing i danced to music and had fun jogging it was so mamazing and now i love on the green belt cuz im a hoe boe jahahahahaha

A wonderful place to walk, ride your bike, roller blade. A paved path that runs along the Boise River for approximately 23 miles where you can see bald eagles, canadian geese, ducks, mink, squirrels, beaver and various other wild life. If you enjoy the out doors and love to look at wildlife this is a wonderful place to explore.

The atmosphere is wonderful just like all the people you encounter there!!

Whats not to like ,friendly people , great senary . We liked it so much we bought a home on the Greenbelt . We will move to Boise for good in Nov 05 . We cannot wait to make the big move. The best part about living on the Greenbelt is - I can't wait to get up in the morning and begin " People watching " the whole town of Boise is out ...
