We go there all the time! My 2 year old and baby love to watch the fish! The discovery center is very fun also! Best of all it's FREE! We went a lot during the summer and once during the fall (the trees were beautiful with the changing leaves!).
When I was a kid and so into nature, I would have spent all day at this place! Even as an adult, I thoroughly enjoyed a pleasant walk through the grounds and chances to see local fish up close. Very well done, with nice access from the greenbelt. For a free exhibit, you can't get much better!

Our 6 and 7 year old grandchildren were climbing the walls after being inside due to heavier than normal snowfall in January. This is a free visit that someone with a small interest in the local flora and fauna of Boise Idaho could enjoy for a half an hour, or three to four. It hosts Fish, Birds, Predators, and plantlife from around the area in a very easy to view manner. I go once or twice a year just to see it again.
