This is one of two places in the United States that can boast of an entire street of homes being heated geothermally. In addition there are still visible hitching posts and steps (for when women needed some "help" into carriages, with their long skirts...) out in front of several houses. Nice sidewalks and big shady trees in the summer for a leisurely walk while taking in some history.

I live in East Boise and I accept every chance I can to take the scenic route into town driving down Warm Spings road. I just love seeing the wild life, smelling the flowers that fill the air and just seeing all the homes that have such history. Some homes even have the old posts that you would tie your horse to. I recommend it

This is just like most cities, it's old homes that have been kept up nicely. It's o.k. if you have nothing else to go and see or if it's on your way somewhere.
