  • awesome!

Beautiful! It wasn't crowded at all! Waikiki Beach was packed-it was great to say you've been there, but Ala Moana was the place to relax. The family loved the water! Can't wait to go back!

What can I say? I received a marriage proposal on the 4th of July here after spectacular fireworks. We are going back to celebrate our 5 year anniversary.

Beautiful white sand beach. Great for kids. Whether you like to play sports in the sand or just lay back in the sun, this is the beach for you.

  • Great for families

The Ala Moana Beach is just a short distance from Waikiki, but much less crowded and more family oriented. The water is a bit murky, probably due to the artificial reef to keep the waves out. This is a small price to pay for the smooth water that is great for kids.

For those who like calm waters, this park is ideal for you! Best time to go is early morning, as there is only street parking. BYO water, food, etc..
