Would have more than 5 stars if it was possible!Simply the most memorable and touching WWII place I have seen; The harbor itself is beautiful and offers spectacular views of all memorials/museums:
USS Arizona
USS Missouri
Bowfin submarine
Pacific Aviation Museum

Going back next fallRespect for fallen soldiers and preserving of their interment was heartwarming.
Beat time to visit, when most schools are in session and not the summer.

going againyour heart breaks. if you stand silent you can feel the sorrow felt there in all the men who died. spend time and read the wall of names you never know if someone from someone you know has a son grandfather brother etc... who is still buried on that ship.Was this review helpful? An Experience I'll Never Forget!I went there when I was 13 yrs. old for Christmas break-1987... The Memorial is a GREATE place to visit while anyone who visits Oahu. The mueseum has so many stories to tell just by reading the letters that the soldiers wrote home to their loved ones....

A must see for all Who go to HonoluluThis is a must for all travelers to Honolulu. Get there early as the available spots to take the launch to the actual memorial close early. I would suggest going there at around 0630 to get in line. Do not braing any bags as you can't get in with them. There are lockers available to secure items with.
