We purchased general admission tickets and the lunch buffet. Visiting all the villages and learn about the various cultures was priceless. Our young children were very involved at each of the villages. The kids' passports is a wonderful way to get the kids to be interactive. The lunch buffet was a WASTE of money and a HUGE disappointment.
i liked the atmosphere. Also, the events were great and the show at the end of the day was really impressive. the only downside is that the price is kinda expensive, around 100$ and i didnt have the time to visit them any other day so it felt like a pretty expensive visit :) however, you can come visit the next 2 days with the same ticket, so it's worth it. oh, the buffet food was really good as well !

Very disappointed

Did not enjoy this experience. Expected to see lush grounds and find lots to do. Only go if you don't mind lots of walking in the heat. Paid $90 and that did not include a tour guide. Left after only an hour. Would not do again.

Had a great time!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/10/09
We liked the friendly guides and natives in the villages to show how they do various things and can try out some yourself. Luau dinner was delicious. Evening performance was excellent.
We bought the Ambassador Luau package, and arrived at 1 pm. We were able to see most of the brief village programs at villages and the canoe pageant, but ...

Great Experience
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/13/09
Loved the various cultures, especially the Samoan who made coconut milk. The canoe display was colorful. The atmosphere was great and the center was extremely clean considering the large crowd of people.
The luau was disappointing--food was average and service was poor. Admission is too high.
By far the most interesting and exciting cultural center ever visited. It's a must see if you are on Oahu island.Everything was great from shows, dinner, exhibitions, everything.

Don't miss the Samoan Show
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/09/09
This is a must when going to Honolulu. And when you go, don't you dare miss seeing the show at the Samoan Village. Going there will be worth the trip.
The people definitely make this place as special as it is. What a wonderful opportunity it is for us to learn from these students and for them to be able to fund their educations. It's a perfect match. The park is lovely. The presentations are fantastic. The food is great. We learned so much. The day just flew by. Be sure to arrive when it ...
I grew up in Hawaii, and every time a visitor came to town, we took them to the Polynesian Cultural Center (PCC) - on of the few "we have visitor" activities I loved to do. Set up as a walk through Polynesian villages and staffed by people native to each specific culture, it is the most culturally relevant attraction I've ever been ...
