Waimea is a great beach & I have been many times, but the most frustrating thing is the lack of parking. You often have to park on the road and walk down to the beach which is not only a lengthy walk but dangerous because of the traffic.

Waimea bay beach is awesome! Its beautiful, not many people, plus there is a great rock to jump from. I jump everytime I go to Waimea bay. It is so much better that waikiki!

Excitement & rush is here...just a jump away. If you don't want to jump, swimming in the clean blue water is satisfaction enough! If you're on the islands, you might as well see the natural beauties of the island. Therefore, don't go to where everybody else goes. If you go to Waikiki Beach, and go to Waimean Bay, you'll know what I'm talking about.

Skip Waikiki and go to Waimea. The beach is huge and there is no reef, just sand, so if you are playing in the ocean you won't get cut up. Much of the year the water is very calm, almost like a lake in fact, but if you go in the winter the waves can be huge. They will have some of the most amazing surfing there you will ever experience or see if it is too big for you.

The scenery is absolutely amazing! It's a great spot for surfing (when the waves are huge!) and also when it's clam it's a nice place to relax. Beautiful, Awesome, Wonderful Beach. It was a great place to take the kids. I saw the most amazing sunset here. Waimea was my favorite spot in Hawaii. You have got to see it!!
