I LIVE IN SAN DIEGO AND HAVE NOT FOUND A STORE WITH THIS MUCH VARIETY. SOME OF THE PRICES ARE HIGH, BUT YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. EVERY TIME I'M IN WAIKIKI I BUY TONS OF THIER SHIRTS TO LAST A YEAR. I HIGHLY RECOMEND DROPPING MAD CASH AT THIS STORE!!

I liked it because it had a wide variety of clothing to choose from, that was quiality and at a good price. I bought quite a few things there.

Although some of the clothes are a bit expensive, it is worth buying especially if you aren't a local. They have original brands only they sell so coming back to the main land with clothes no one will have is a pretty nice feeling.

These guys are awesome! I went to the Beach Walk shop and talked to one of the family there about fishing and I am wearing my shirt right now. I love it. I highly recommend these guys.

well what can i say besides this being the best store ever. Best style i have seen in a long time, plus not every one knows about it so you won't see someone with the same ish.

they had a lot of different clothing that you can't find on the mainland, but carried mostly men's clothing. Overall they have a lot of neat things, just go when you have plenty of time too see everything!

Alter Ego is a cool little clothing/accessory shop. If you like the surfer or alternative, or even urban chic look, it's a great place to shop. Very stylish gear! Bigger girls may have trouble finding thier size.

I HATE Waikiki but I will make the hour long drive from the north side to go and get shirts here. The Alter Ego line is so original and great designs! They have another great line of shirts that's their own called Rootslife.
The only downfall - the price. Expect to pay $15-$20 for each t-shirt.

Very cool store with most of the surf and skate brands, plus a lot of original stuff I have never seen before. A brand called 'Roots Life' is a local Hawaiian brand thats not on the mainland. I rate this store so well because of the selection and mostly because the guy working there gave my little sister an $8 for free!! I highly recommend this store!
