Tybee's Beach Bum Parade is good clean fun but there are some who try to spoil it.
No water balloons are allowed or pressure washers or wetting the cops.
If the cops had seen the water balloons - these balloon-throwers would have been in big trouble.

ive been 3 years in a row and every year i is more fun than the last. bring as much water as you can or find someone nice enough (which shouldnt be hard at tybee) to let you borrow their hose (theyre probably renting anyways). head down to the beach afterwards and relax. see you next year

Sat outside on the balcony at beachsidecolony Inn and enjoyed the show! It was great! Young and old alike enjoyed. The police keeps this event under control. So you don't have to worry about the little one's getting hurt by any older kids if they want to participate. Harley Guys beware if you come down the strip you will get soaked. better ...

Loved everything but the COLD water....never thought I would be freezing in a Parking Lot in 90 degree weather...we sat in the lot for 2 hours while LITTLE ONES buried us w their ICE WATER!!!
But we had a Water BLAST of FUN!!!

This was our second time to the Beach Bum Parade. We had a great time with one incident! With all the fun and laughing around us it is hard to believe that a car full of young men would intentionally fill water balloons with ice and throw them at unsuspecting happy people. The welt and bruise on my sons back was not fun at all. Shame on them!!!

loved the parade everyone participated, got soaking wet but loved it so much fun. A great place to take kids.Water Water everywhere so watch out,don't go if it bothers you to get soaked,you'll be miserable

This parade should be held on Sat. afternoon when it is warm out and more people enjoy it. Holding it on a Fri. evening is horrible - it's freezing out. Once was enough for me!
