I have attended the tour twice and volunteered once. The homes are always a delight and the people behind the event put a lot of heart into this and it shows. Not only do you see 100 year old homes, but you get the history that goes with them. Other events that coincide with the tour include a group luncheon event at Paula Deen's restaurant and Mrs. Wilke's Boarding House. This is a must see when visiting Savannah!

  • Savannah at it's best!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/01/05
For 4 days you can tour private homes and gardens! In addition, they have reserved luncheons at Paula Deen's restaurant and Mrs. Wilkes' Boarding House. The Georgian Silver Seminar is wonderful as well as the other Seminars and Special Events. All this at the height of the Spring flowers blooming. All proceeds go to charities and historic preservation. You can walk your feet off, but what a great time!
