Juliette Gordon Lowe Home
By Renee, 01/10/07
This home belonged to the founder of the Girl Scouts of America. It is beautiful in everyway, and I want to encourage everyone to stop in for a visit when in town. If you want to plan a trip around this tour, the best time would be in the fall when they do their "lamp light" tours. The walls are painted in the original paint for the time, ...

Old Home

This city is a beautiful place to visit. This is one place you would really enjoy if your girl is involved in scouts. I went here when I was a Girl Scout and still remember this home. The garden was so peaceful and flowers are pretty in the spring time. Seeing all of Miss Low's belongings and how she grew up gave me a sense of why I loved being a brownie and girl scout as a young girl. This home is dedicated to all the girls in America.

We can't wait to go back!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/20/06
Troop 480 enjoyed the juliette low birthplace because it helped the girls understand how times of the past was until girl scouts was founded. They loved the gift shop and donated yarn dolls to the gift shop. We can't wait until we go back. The troop didn't dislike anything about the tour.

I liked everything about the Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace. Our troop just came back and it was a wonderful day. The Victorian Tea was absolutely wonderful and our guide for the house was very informative and knowledgeable.

GIrl SCouts Come to life
By Backstreet Girl Sweetheart, 06/30/06
I have been to the birthplace of the Girl Scout founder 2 times and it is truly an amazing place. I will enjoy sharing my story about going there twice to my future daughters who may become Girl Scouts someday and tell will probably go too. I had fun going with 80 Girl scouts on a wider op. I had my picture taken in front of the famous buliding ...
Home and tour very nice - but guide seemed to be a bit dated in her appearance and descriptions - spent too much time on each and every item seen

Hail Juliette Low!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/06/05
Juliette Low's home in Savannah is a great reflection of the type of personality Low exhibited. The home, while stately, offers wonderful charm as did Juliette Low her entire life.
I would highly recommend touring her home while in Savannah. A definite must, even if you are not a Girl Scout.
