Everyone that visits Atlanta out of respect for what he did should visit the center. For me it was a mix of feelings, you feel anger, saddness, hope, joy and makes you reflect while your there and after you leave how different the US specially the south would've been since the 1860's. They do not charge anything to enter only have boxes for donations. My biggest complaint is that it's too small and could use a better lay out inside.
Everyone needs to experience the King Center, especially those who live in Atlanta. It's not only for tourists. It's real history right in the heart of Atlanta. I really enjoyed it.

Absolutely a must see. It's a very solemn and tasteful commemoration of a truly wonderful person. There are many different aspects of the the site that makes for a great way to spend 3-4 hours.
What I like the most of this place was the amount of space that they have allotted to the memorial. They provide a large parking lot, and large areas for people to move around. The collection of material is very interesting. The staff was very friendly. The establishment was very clean and inviting. The parking lot is a little far for someone who ...
This place was entirely a historical experience, so if you're into that, then you gotta come here! Admission is free. The exhibits take you back to that era, and all the places you read about in school are still well preserved in this section of town. Its a lot of walking though. If you don't like history, then this would definetly not be your cup of tea.
This was a true lesson in American history. The house reflects the childhood of one of our great American heroes. It is a true lesson in history for all of the world.
I really enjoyed my visit there. The museum was educational for our young people to come and experience the struggle that was happening doing that time. That brought about a change in our lives today.I don't have any dislike about the museum. When I was their in the church were Martin Luther have preach his first sermon their was a person there taking to the young people about Martin Luther King life.
you can learn a lot about the civil rights movement. see the home where King was raised. Then also see a new exhibit and learn more about america move from segregation to intergration.
