  • Very inspiring

I was really moved by the memorial. One of the best I have ever seen. Attendance should be required.

As a Hispanic, I know first hand that MLK was for all people.

  • I like the history behind the closed doors.
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 10/22/07
I liked the house and how it was still in good shape from when martin Luther king jr. father and mother got the place back in the late 1800's to like the early 1900's. I also like the exibits they had.I liked all of the pictures of Martin and his family even when he was a kid. It seemed like their family was a real loving family. He was a ...

  • Great History
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/16/07
This attraction is a most see. The birth home was just ok. You couldn't take pictures. Everything was behind ropes. The only original things from the home were the piano and a couple of hanging pictures. The Center was full of history books and documentaries, videos and exhibits replicating segregation in the south and how blacks fought for ...

  • Very nice
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 08/04/07
I had a great time at the MLK National Musuem. The only bad thing I noticed was people asking for financial assistance in the parking lot. Please dont let this deter anyone from visiting the musuem but to prepare for this when entering of exiting the facilities. Overall, it is very inspirational.

  • Boring
    By alessandra, 07/27/07
Very boring. very quiet, not colorful.
The gifts shop wall could use a new painting.
It doesnt tell much about the story, its boring to read all the walls. People that are not family with the story, should definetly research first, or will be totally lost.
The foot steps of important people seem childish. There was like 20 of them, they dont explain why are those people important.

  • We will visit again!
    By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/29/07
It was an awesome experience! I went on a beautiful day. I was great to see folks from EVERYWHERE! We sat in the church for the longest just remembering and listening to the sermons. The best thing we did in Atlanta! I'm recommending it to family and friends!

  • Don't miss this.
    By RebeccaP, 01/16/07
A designated National Park with rangers on hand to answer questions. There is a wonderful film presenting the role that children and youth had in the civil rights movement. There is a tour of Dr. King's boyhood home available for a small cost. You can walk through the church where he and his father and brother were pastors. The life of this ...
