Washington High's continuous success should be acclaimed by all. Besides surviving the the inner city blight that all but eradicated many neghborhood public schools, B.T.W. managed to survive. Because of the school's dedication to achievement in all aspects of student life, many graduates return to work as teachers and administrators. When a child willingly returns home, it gives one a great insight into the school's atmosphere.
