Holy Cow but "fxchase" nailed it! I also grew up in the Atlanta area and went to Six Flags Over Georgia so many times it is hard to count. What the hell happened??? I loved it as a kid and could not wait to take my 7 year old daughter there when she was old enough and now I am sorry that I did. Where do I start with the lack of everything ...
I loved it all!! It is an amusment park so yes you will have lines and expensive prices for many things if that isnt what you like then dont go! Expect the lines and the high prices. its all part of the experiance. We went on Thurday thinking we would miss the weekend buzz. And we did. yes there were still lots of people but we were told by some ...

Six Flags Saves Money by Burning Customers
By lannettel, 07/22/08
I understand it is HOT in July in Georgia BUT...It is insane that there are no fans or misters in the line waiting areas when it is 95degrees+ in July! They could use some simple awnings over the areas in the blazing hot sun where the paying customers have to wait with no circulating air or misters. It is clear that Six Flags is trying to save ...

We booked our dream vacation for this past week-end at Six Flags Over Georgia. We had people travel from Memphis, TN, Kingstree, SC, Macon, GA, Jacksonville, Fl, and Virginia. We found out that Saturday 7/19/2008 that the park was closing at 5pm because Microsoft had booked it for the afternoon. Lines were extremely long and our vacation was ...

A must see when visiting Atlanta
By K.J, 07/16/08
This park is a fun place to go. I would recommend it to any one who just wants to have fun and be laid back. The food isn't really fantastic its just typical fast food like chips, pizza, burgers etc.I would suggest you buy the Golden fast pass if you do not want to wait in line for 1-2 hours like everybody else, when you have the Golden Flash ...

Better than reviews said

We went to Six Flags/Atlanta on 7/05/08. I was a little worried about going after reading the reviews but wasn't as bad as I had thought. This was a Saturday and I expected crowds. We figured we would have to wait to ride rides. Average was about 30 minutes. Some of the rides did break down but were up and running within 15 minutes. Rain ...

Just visit Orlando instead

I grew up and still live in Atlanta and have stopped going to Six Flags Over Georgia. When I was a kid it was without a doubt my favorite thing to do. I had a season pass every year until my mid twenties and then stopped going for a while. After a several year absense I started going back again and wow what a difference.
1) The park is filthy ...

Totaly Worth Going!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/19/08
When I was younger my family and I used to go all the time, I hadn't been to 6 flags in a long time until earlier this year for a field trip. It was so much fun (as always)! Although there were long lines (but where can you go where there aren't any lines?0 and that thunder River broke down while I was on the raft about to go on the ride, ...

IT WAS OKAY....
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/01/08
I really had fun at six flags but think that they could care less about safety of other people. When we went on Goliath thay had a peice of cloth hanging off the side which could have gotten stuck and potentially really hurt or killed someone, when I told the young lady working there she said there was nothing she could do about it. The food was ...

Enjoyed very much
By Amber H, 05/28/08
We had a very enjoyable afternoon at Six Flags over Georgia (after our disapointment that morning over White Water) There is fun for everyone. And a variety of rides for everyone. My husband doesn't care for those steel looping coasters ( I like a few) But they also have wooden coasters, we both enjoyed the mine train ride. We loved Thunder ...
