Well kept, good variety, very educations, lots of climates, plenty of exhibits. Price was low. Even has a children's section where kids could spend hours

beautiful stroll

I like its location next to Piedmont Park. When you're done at the Gardens you can take a walk to the Tavern for some good beer. The Gardens are beautiful, albeit a little small compared to some other Botanical Gardens I've been to.

Beautiful and Inspiring
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/26/05
Beautiful and Inspiring-I suggest visiting the gardens to everyone. Great for a stroll, or to write or draw. the ambiance is serene and peaceful! A hidden secret that must be explored.
I loved how everywhere you turned you saw one beautiful thing after another. Its a great place to bring friends family, and dates. Very relaxing. Great cafe on site as well. Well worth the $7 admission.
We all went on a field trip with my child and her school, the kids really enjoyed and most of adults did to our favorite was the butterfly dome.they also have a beautiful park and we would love to go again sometime.
Not only is this a terrific place for tourists, it also makes for a great day date location. When the flowers are in bloom one can't help but feeling love in the air.
The Atlanta Botanical Gardens are a nice break from the constant hustle of everyday life. I actually became a member of the gardens so I am able to go quite often The gardens cover a large amount of space and show a wide variety of plants. Each time I go I notice things that I previously did not take note of. I definately recommend the Atlanta Botanical Gardens to visitors and residents of Atlanta!!!
If you ever get to Atlanta, do not pass up the opportunity to go to the Botanical Gardens. It has got to be the most beautiful place in the entire city. The Rainforest is the most amazing thing to see. There are so many exoctic plants all around and when you least expect it, a bird or a frog show up. The grounds themselves are also wonderful. ...
My toddler loves the Atlanta Botanical Garden. We went primarily to let him get a close look at the poison dart frogs. We didn't expect to find so many frogs in ponds scattered throughout the grounds. The Children's Garden also was a very big hit, and the special display of model trains captivated him.
